President William Ruto today inspected the 84-kilometre Kenol – Sagana – Marua Road Project.
He inspected a section of the Great North Road being upgraded into a state-of-the-art dual carriageway.
The road project, which is 93% complete, is designed to accommodate heavy traffic volumes, withstand diverse weather conditions, and ensure long-term durability.
“In addition to improving connectivity, the project delivers significant social and economic benefits, including the construction of a trauma centre in Sagana,” he said.

Other projects include modern roadside markets, sanitary facilities, motorcycle sheds, improved local access roads, and tree-planting initiatives all of which aim at promoting environmental sustainability.
