Stakeholders call for a fair transition process to senior school

Kabati Fly Over School has stood among the leading learning institutions in the provision of offering quality CBC education programmes.

Since the implementation of the CBC programme many schools have visited the Kabati based institution  for bench marking from provision of education, management,  and sports.

In the just released KJSEA,  the school posted 32 candidates with EE1, 12 with EE2, 10 with ME1 , and three with ME2 .

Started in 2007,  the school has expanded from the provision comprehensive ECDE, to Junior secondary school (JSS). 

Stephen Gathua, at Kabati Fly Over School, one of the best candidates said he expects to join Kagumo,Baricho and Nairobi schools, which he selected while in Junior school. 

“I expect to take an orthopedic surgeon course at the university which has been my dream course,” said Gathua.

 The school board through Francis Mwangi backed by parents said the learners have been performing well following the better cooperation between  the parents and teachers, thus there will be fair placement in the senior school admission.

Mwangi, flanked by other directors, hailed the cooperation between the teachers, learners and the parents for being the source of excellence since the inception of the institution.

“ Kabati Fly Over School has well managed Lower classes and Day Care centre to ensure the young get a firm foundation to assist them through the education ladder,” said Mwangi.

The school has an equipped science laboratory that has been visited by many institutions  as part of the benchmarking.

“ At Kabati Fly Over School we are pleased to disclose that many schools from around Murang’a and Nairobi  visited for benchmarking on various spheres,” said Mwangi.

A parent, John Kamau, said  the era of creating a barrier between the learners from the public and public schools should come to an end.

“ The government is duty bound to support the investors in the education sector through giving the learners from the private and public equal chances in the senior schools selection,” said Kamau.
