Njeru conferred with the Moran of the Order of the Burning Spear (MBS)

The former KTDA Holding National Chairman Enos Njeru, was among the 235 persons who were recognised  and conferred the Moran of the Order of the Burning Spear (MBS) during today’s Jamhuri Day celebrations by President William Ruto.

 Njeru said he was deeply honoured to have been conferred with the prestigious recognition by the State is a profound affirmation of the responsibilities entrusted to him and the work undertaken in service to our nation.

The tea farmers in the counties celebrated the conferred of the MBS  to Njeru whom they recognised as a pillar to the success of the tea sector owing to his dedicated efforts.

“I accept this award with utmost humility and gratitude. It reinforces my commitment to uphold the highest standards of integrity, professionalism, and dedication in the discharge of my duties,” said Njeru.

Njeru represents farmers affiliated to the Rukuriri, Mungania, and Kathangariri tea factories in Embu county at the KTDA Holding.

Njeru appreciated those who supported and encouraged him throughout this journey. 

“May God bless the Republic of Kenya, and may we continue to work together in advancing the welfare and progress of our nation,” said Njeru.

The Narok Governor Patrick Ole Ntutu was also awarded with the Elder of the Golden Heart, Senator Veronica Maina with Chief of the Burning Spear (CBS), military chiefs, business persons and academia.

 Public Service Chief of Staff Mr Felix Kosgei said national honour and awards are awarded to persons who have done great to the country.

“ The law allows conferment of the awards to persons who have done admirable to the public through economy, science and research, environment and conversation,academia, law and administration among others,” said the Chief of staff.
