Former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua as he unveiled the Democracy for Citizens Party (DCP) naming the former UDA Secretary General Cleopas Malala the interim Deputy party leader.
Key officials include are David Mingati as Strategy Chairperson (deputized by Peter Mwathi), Hesbon Obanga as Party Secretary-General, and Cate Waruguru as National Women Leader.
Hannah Mutua will hold the office of the DCP’s Treasurer, Mithika Linturi will be the National Organising Secretary and Maina Kamanda the chair to the Council of Eminent Persons.
“Dear Kenyans, I have spent six months in my Wamunyoro residence listening to Kenyans who voluntarily called me in the village. I have engaged with Kenyans on national platforms, religious leaders, opposition leaders, Kenyans living abroad, students, as well as youth on X and TikTok” said Gachagua.
