Kirinyaga based Mununga tea factory registered the highest achieved tea price at the auction market last week with a kilogramme trading at Sh471.90.
In the weekly auction, the best performing factories were Imenti(Sh466.70),Kiegoi Sh462.80, Kagwe Sh453.70.
Others that achieved the highest price at the Mombasa auction were RukiririSh452.20,Kionyo Sh 444.60, Makomboki Sh 444.60 and Ngere Sh443.30.
In the market factories that fetched the lowest price are Kapkoros Sh 174.20, Kapsara Sh297.70, Letein Sh297.70, Gianchore Sh297.70, and Chebut Sh299.
In Murang’a county, Ngere Sh443.30, Njunu Sh435.50, Nduti Sh383.50,Kiru Sh413.40, Ikumbi Sh434.20, Gacharage Sh423.80, Gatunguru Sh409.50,
