A professional group comes to rescue of KRA chairman

The Mountain Journal

The battle surrounding KRA Chairman Antony Mwaura and an online blogger Cyprian Nyakundi has attracted professionals, citing misuse of social media.

The professionals led by Adan Ibrahim accused Nyakundi for propagating unverified information pertaining to Mwaura in his work place.

“In your online platform, you are selling a message which is a riddle full of street gossip, and further revealing your cheap and vacuous journalism,” said Adan.

Adan cited that Mwaura children have all the rights to do business with the government institutions, like other business entities without any form of discrimination.

“ Tracing the children to their biological father for an innocuous business venture opened to the public is a genealogical misconstruction. You are criminalising Mwaura’s children for doing honest business in their motherland,” said Adan.

He adds that interestingly, the KRA manager, Rosemary Njeri was fired in August 2023 for dereliction of duty.

“Why has it taken one solid year for the said officer to rummage for excuses that have no probative evidence /value in a court of law,”? Posed the professional group leader.

He advises the online journalists  to be reaching out to the other parties for fair comments, before launching ferocious attacks designed to malign their names and families.

Role of the chairman in an organisation, he advises , is designed to provide strategic leadership while the role of executing discipline is bestowed on the management.
