A Kenya who fled from the US after he allegedly killed a lady will face a murder charge in Suffolk Superior Court in Boston on September 3.
Kelvin Kang’ethe, the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) said will face trial in the US after he secured an extradition order from the court.
Kang’ethe is accused of killing Margaret Mbitu on October 31, 2023.
He left Nairobi for Boston on September 1, said the DPP Renson Ingonga as he expressed his office’s commitment to the case.
“I wish to reiterate my commitment and support whenever needed to the United States and in particular the prosecution team as they proceed with the next phase of the case,” he said.
