Murang’a Water (Muwasco) led by Eng Daniel Ng’ang’a, has received international recognition from the World Bank at the ongoing International Water Association Congress in Toronto Canada.
The Murang’a county lead water service provider was lauded for its outstanding data integrity practices, which have positioned itself as a frontrunner in Africa.

MUWASCO’s active participation in the joint IWA and NewIBNET Initiative for Data Pioneers underscores its commitment to driving global water and sanitation solutions through collaboration and benchmarking.
In the forum, Ng’ang’a was honored by the World Bank’s Global Director, Mr. Saroj Jha, who specifically commended MUWASCO’s efforts in supporting women in the water sector through mentorship and promoting inclusivity in strategic water leadership forums.

This recognition is a testament to MUWASCO’s dedication to excellence and innovation in the water industry.
