A 32-year-old lady is on the verge of dying if a needle in her body will not be removed.
Evalyne Kalyeke a mother of 5 might not see her children grow if the needle that is in her body is not removed after she failed to get any assistance from the Kerugoya Referral and Embu Level Five facilities she has visited in three weeks.
Kalyeke has been unable to eat or even rest due to the excessive pain in her body
Wellwishers from Murinduko ward managed to raise sh 11,000 to enable her to get an X-ray at the Tenri hospital in Embu county.
The previous X-ray showed there was nothing in her lungs.
She suspects to have allowed the needle after it slipped her lips down her throat.
“I was holding a needle to thread it, I suspect I swallowed it by mistake,” Kalyeke said.
She has not been able to raise the required amount, she does manual jobs to earn a living.
