He said the majority of the nominees are from Laikipia West only Kihoro is a resident of Laikipia North Constituency.

“ It is clear testimony that Irungu has ignored  the locality that backed him during the campaigns,” said Muchiri, a business man in Nanyuki town.

The nominees have been invited for vetting by the assembly on October 31 and November 1.
Sarah Ngima said in the first cabint Irungu had distributed the cabinet positions in the three constituencies.
She expressed satisfaction with the appointment of two women in the executive committee hoping  the remaining three slots  would be distributed fairly.
” What is worrying is that Laikipia East residents feel left out in the administration of Irungu whom they supported during the hotly contested election,” said Ngima, a member of Maendeleo ya Wanawake.
