Eyes on Murang’a votes
The Mountain Journal
Two days after OKA leaders met with members of the Mt Kenya Foundation, Musalia Mudavadi is back again in Murang’a to test the ground.
Being his fifth time to visit Murang’a and backyard of Usawa Kwa Wote leader Mwangi wa Iria, Musalia will be attending a home coming of lawyer Simon Gikuru at Kiawambeu village in Kiharu.
Lugari MP Ayub Savula said Musalia will be running for Presidency in 2022 as he is the best suited for the position.
Three weeks ago, Gikuru, a former Murang’a County Jubilee Party chairman, was appointed by an ANC executive for the post of Secretary General.
Gikuru left the Jubilee for ANC after he was ousted from the position and replaced following political misunderstandings.
Last month, Musalia was hosted at Kinyona Catholic Church under the invitation of Murang’a MP Sabina Wanjiru Chege.
