The government has effected changes in Laikipia county in efforts to restore security after OL Moran Clashes.
The County Commissioner Daniel Nyameti has been moved and replaced by Joseph King’ori with stern directive to restore security.
The removal of Nyameti followed spate of insecurity in the county where hundreds of illegal herders invased private ranches and small scale farms causing chaos in parts of Laikipia North and Laikipia West.
Insiders revealed more changes are on way as the government moves to bring in more security forces to beef up security in the affected areas.
Interior and National Coordination Cabinet Secretary Dr Free Matiang’i and the local Governor Ndiritu Muriithi have been working round the clock to assist the victims of chaos.
