I was not involved in the impeachment process of my boss, says Ndambiri

Kirinyaga governor Mumbi Waiguru has reconciled  with his deputy Peter Ndambiri,
after the impeachment fell out.

Speaking at the Kiadumu African Independent Pentecostal church of
Africa (AIPCA) in Gichugu constituency, the governor said that she is ready to work  with the deputy for the interest of the Kirinyaga people.

The meeting between Ndambiri and Waiguru was a surprise after not
meeting for a year after the governor alleged that the deputy’s
members of the county assembly fronted her impeachment.

The deputy governor has been a lone ranger after he had been  sidelined  from attending the crucial executive meetings.

The DG  fell out with the governor after he accused her of punishing MCAs who demand
accountability from her by discriminating against their wards in development projects.

In the turn of events, Ndambiri defended himself saying that he was not in any way involved in the impeachment process or being party or colluded with the members of the county assembly,
saying that Waiguru was misadvised.

“I was not in any way involved in the impeachment process, the governor
was misadvised so that people can get a loophole to get money,”
explained Ndambiri.
