Anxiety in Murang’a as politicians seeking to succeed Governor
Mwangi wa Iria are awaiting to hear from former Kigumo MP Jamleck Kamau.

 In his appearance last month
in native Kigumo constituency, Kamau issued a 30 days’ notice to those aspiring
for the slot indicating he will launch his campaigns.

The Mountain Journal has established that the politicians and
public servants eying the slot have been shivering waiting for the directions Kamau
will give as well as outlining its political strategy.


Insiders in the camps allied to MP Sabina Chege and Water and Irrigation
Permanent Secretary Joseph Wairagu and Tea sector Lobby Irungu Nyakera are keen awaiting for the statement nor the
direction that will be given by the former Nairobi Metropolitan Minister.

Several press conferences have been planned by the strategists
of the politicians ahead of the much-awaited direction.

 Also expected  to declare interest  for the race is Murang’a Senator Dr Irungu Kang’ata who is an ally to Deputy President William Ruto
