School fires:Panic after a dormitory caught fire at Kiambugi secondary school

Students’ property at St Paul  Boys High School, Gathuki ini were consumed by fire on Wednesday morning.

In the incident property belonging
to 66 students was consumed by the mysterious fire that erupted.


A crisis meeting was convened in the
school to address the issue, after three blurred images were spotted around the
ill-fated building before it caught fire. 

The school formerly Kiambugi secondary  school rebranded  to help erase the past history of indiscipline. 

Murang’a County Police Commander
Josphat Kinyua said the matter is under investigation.


The police are at the scene collecting
vital information that will enable them to arrest the culprits,” said Mr
Kinyua.
 

 The history indicates that in the 1970’s
,  Kiambugi was  registered as the first school in the country to
be torched, where the learners were implicated.
