Members of Parliament have asked NG
CDF to increase allocation meant to promote sporting activities to five
percent.
Mathioya MP Peter Kimari said an allocation of
2.5 percent assigned to be used is too little for the constituencies to promote
the activities effectively.
The MP spoke at Nyangiti grounds during Gitugi ward soccer tournament between Kambara
FC and Dream Team.

“ We are seeking for a change of the
policies on the utilization of the development kitty to five percent as
Sh2million allocated is inadequate for a meaningful programme,” said Kimari.
He said he was considering inviting giant soccer
teams to assist in the training of the talented youth in football skills.
