Clerk at Murang’a county assembly Kuria Thuita has been appointed as the Mt. Kenya Region (Central), Society of Clerks .
He will represent at the clerks at the Table (SOCATT) representative.
Kuria a lawyer by profession was elected to represent the clerks of county assemblies forum, barely four months after he moved at the Murang’a Assembly after he was vetted by the County Public Service Board to take over the post of the clerk.
Kuria a resident from Kangema inherited the slot from Rev Chris Kinyanjui who was appointed as the General Secretary at National Council of Churches of Kenya NCCK). He is the fourth clerk to serve at the county assembly since 2013.
The down to earth clerk will represent the counties of Murang’a ,Kirinyaga ,Nyeri,Laikipia, Tharaka Nithi, Embu and Nyandarua at the steering committee of the forum.
