After years of being out
of the political scene, lawyer Mbiyu Kamau has been recalled by the residents
in Kandara to help reshape the destiny of the constituency.
Every Sunday, Mbiyu a
human rights lawyer has been attending church services across the constituency urging
the community to come out and give opinions on how best to rebuild Kandara
constituency.
Peter Kamande of Kahui Their
village say the lawyer in the past has
provided the best ideas on how best to drive the constituency agenda.
Kamande said Kandara is interested to have a
leader who will assist in the rebuilding of the infrastructure for the interest
of the community.
“After MP Alice Wahome
term comes to an end we are interested to elect the lawyer, who is equal to the
task,” said Kamande.
Mbiyu on his part said he
was ready to take over the leadership of the constituency and will work hand in
hand with the locals.
“As a leader one is duty
bound to relate well with the community
to get the right information pertaining to development,” said Mbiyu.
Kandara parliamentary seat has attracted
Julius Kaberere and Injinia Mwaura.
