Former Gatanga MP Peter Kenneth should be considered for a post in the government.
Leaders led by Murang’a Senator Irungu Kang’ata said Kenneth is a leader who backs President Uhuru Kenyatta with development ideas.
The leaders MPs Mary Wamaua (Maragua) and Nduati Ngugi(Gatanga) supported appointment of Kenneth in the government on grounds Murang’a county leadership backed him.
“He is our inspiration and Murang’a leaders have requested if he will be considered to join the government in the coming reshuffle,”said the senator.
Kenneth has insisted that there was need for Mt Kenya region leaders to respect the Presidency and support his development agenda.
” The region must follow advice to the Head of State and who will guide the succession politics,” said Kenneth when when he addressed a meeting in his Gatanga backyard at Mabae primary school grounds
