Former Laikipia East MP Mutahi Kimaru has been charged with theft
of title deed in a Nairobi Court.
Mutahi who was arrested at
Nyeri law courts by DCI officers from Nairobi on Wednesday was charged with
theft of title no LR 10422/13 that is located within Nanyuki Township with a
value of Sh18.5 million.

on August 5, 2016.
He denied
charges of stealing, conspiracy to defraud, making a false document, obtaining
land registration by false pretence and fraud before chief Magistrate
Martha Mutuku.
He was released on Sh300,000 cash bail.
The document belonged to the late Livia Lepoer
Trench and was in custody of the executors of the estate Trench, Mr Odinga Oraro and David Morton Silversten.
