Jubilee party has expelled six
nominated senators who have defied orders.
The six are Isaac Mwaura,
Mary Yiene, Waqo Naomi Jilo, Millicent Omanga, Victor Prengei, and
Iman Falhada Dekow.
The six are among the leaders in the
senate and the national assembly backing Deputy President William Ruto who is
eying for Presidency.
They have also rejected the BBI pushed by President Uhuru Kenyatta and ODM leader Raila Odinga.
In a letter from the party Secretary General
Raphael Tuju, the six have been expelled with immediate effect.
The expulsions are with immediate effect and
have been communicated to the senate leadership and the registrar of political parties, said tuju in a letter dated February 8. More details to follow
