Youthful Usawa Kwa Wote Party Founding Secretary Patrick Muigai will be contesting for Senatorial seat in Murang’a.
As he is commonly known as Senator Kijana, the youthful Aspirant wants total involvement of young people in community leadership and community economic activities through concerted Legislative activities not mere goodwill.
He wants a close working relationships with county governments unlike two previous senators
” I want to demystify role of senator in rural social economic developments as opposed what we have witnessed before”
He has been vocal on issues touching on equity regarding national sharing of resources to regions where he hopes to bring social justice legislative activities in the region.
Currently, he is doing grassroots mobilisation of registration of voters by IEBC across the region as well as recruitment of Usawa kwa wote party members.
Last General elections he contested for Gatanga parliamentary seat where he lost narrowly to Eng Joseph Nduati Ngugi.
