Operations in one of the Nanyuki-based horticultural farms came to a halt after the employees protested over claims of poor working conditions.
They said 12 employees from the security department had been laid off.
The 200 employees also protested over the unfair dismissal of a section of their colleagues by the management of the HBM Flowers Kenya Ltd who also sought for the resignation of the General Manager Kalathiya Harshad.
They claimed some operated without Personal Protective Equipment(PPEs) exposing them to hazards chemicals, among other grievances.
But a letter seen by the media indicated that the company was restructuring and sought to recruit qualified security guards.
