Ruto tours Kigumo in search of votes

after the late President Mzee Jomo Kenyatta 
got in Legco after mp Kariuki wa Njiiri stepped down  in his favour

 Deputy President William Ruto has toured
Kigumo constituency for the first time as he moved explaining to the locals
over the need to support his Bottom Up economic design.


 Ruto accompanied by Senator Irungu Kang’ata
and MPs Alice Wahome( Kandara), Rigathe Gachagua( maathiota, Kimani Ichungw’a(
Kabeta), James Gakuya( Embakasi North) said the bottoms up concept  was better implemented thans starting with
amendment of the constitution.

 He toured the vote-rich constituency accusing
ODM Leader Raila Odinga over sabotaging the Jubilee Government development
agenda after he was allowed  four
years ago.


 He attended church services at Ngaburi AIPCA and
Kangari Africa Christian Church&Schools (ACC&S)where he said he was ready
to fix the challenges the Kenyans were going through.

The DP said through
the support of the Kenyan voters,  he
will allocate Sh100 billion  for the
youth enterprise programme and a further Sh50 billion  for the small and medium enterprises, adding
that the Kenyan youth was depressed 
following the high rate of unemployment.

“ The challenge we
have with the youth is that the majority are alcoholics, thus the need  for the country  to allocate a hefty budget to cater for their
needs,” said the DP.

 During a road side meeting at Kangari  and Mariira markets, Ruto introduced Joseph
Munyoo as the UDA canddkiate in Kigumo. 

Munyoro in the 2017 election came in second position on an independent party ticket  after Wangari mwaniki sailed through  on Jubilee Party ticket. He also introduced Joseph
Nyutu as the party’s candidate  for the
senatorial position  and a number of
MCA aspirants in Kigumo.

 During the visit, the DP officially opened Kangari United Dairy Cooperative Society and appreciated efforts made by the officials  to support the dairy farming.
