The contest for the African Union Chairmanship enters the crucial campaign moments as the Kenyan government popularises its candidate Raila Odinga.
The veteran politician’s candidature will be unveiled by President William Ruto this morning.
It is expected that an Eastern African Country will produce the holder of the office for the first time in history.
Other eying for the highest places position are former Mauritius Prime Minister Anil Gayan, Richard Randriamandrato(Madagascar), and former President of Seychelles Mr Vincent Meriton.
Other candidates are Djibouti’s Foreign Affairs Minister Mahmoud Ali Youssouf.
