Kenyans living in war-torn Lebanon asked to relocate to safer grounds as the war intensified in the Middle East region.
The State Department of Diaspora Affairs called on Kenyans to relocate to safer places with immediate effect or seek evacuation.
To assist those in the war-torn areas, the Kenyan government provided a link and emergency contacts to facilitate their registration.
In a statement, Kenyans in Lebanon have been urged to call; +96590906719, +96171175006, or +254114757002 for assistance in evacuating.
Kenyans with family members in Lebanon are encouraged to contact the provided numbers for coordinated safety efforts.
“We are also requesting Kenyans in the diaspora to help spread this information to as many people as possible, especially our brothers and sisters in Lebanon,” the ministry added.
