Kirinyaga Assembly Majority leader Kamau Murango has lashed out at Kirinyaga Deputy Governor Peter Ndambiri asking him to give County Governor Anne Waiguru peace to deliver on her development mandate.
The deputy Governor had tried to accuse her boss over the location of Rice husks factory that is aimed at making Building boards from rice by products.
While praising the Governor for the intiative,Murango told Ndambiri ,to keep off the project ,and think what he can do for the people of Mwea as a leader, instead of Politicising and interfering with Governors work
.The Majority leader said Ndambiri should familiarise himself with undertakings in the county gvt.instead of crying foul in the villages.
He said the Governor should be given ample time to execute the project at her own will and be given peace to do more Consultations on the project.Murango told DG to also look for donors and implement more projects than to only think of what has already been intiated.
He said Kirinyaga county is one and it was wrong for Ndambiri to try propagate differences for self-interest.
This Was the second time the majority leader defended the Governor since the prolonged impeachment debate that he supported.
The latest defence to Governor is seen as move by the Majority leader to return to his earlier position as the defendant of Government business in the assembly.
