There will be on inpatient admission into health facilities operated by the county government.
Council of Governors has advised on provision of minimal outpatient services as those providinh non essessial services proceed of two weeks leave.
In a communication to Governors Councils Chairman Wycliff Oparanya said the struggle to ensure resources are disbursed to counties will continue.
“All non essential services at the counties are hereby suspended,” read part of the communication.
The closure of services follows threat issued by the council two weeks ago as Senate failed to agree on how resources to the counties will be shared.
In Mt Kenya region, the slogan has been one vote one shilling as opposed to leadera from Northern Kenya who want requirement on landmass. The senate has sat for more than 13 times without a solution.
