The ground is set by political parties to contest electoral slot in
the coming By-Election with Democratic Party nominating candidates.
At Msabweni, after Jubilee Party kept off, Democratic Party has
identified Peter N Nzuki to contest the seat that was left vacant by
the late Suleiman Dori. It will be a two horse race in the coastal by election.
Nzuki and ODM candidate Omari Boga will be battling to refill the position that
was left vacate following the death of Dori.
DP chairman Esau Kioni said
at Kahawa Wendani ward the party has cleared Patrick Chege to run for the slot
that was left vacant following the death of Cryus Omondi “Gear Box”.
In Gaturi Ward in Kiharu,
Murang’a County, DP has settled on Nelson Kenda as the candidate
to replace the late Cryus Kiiru Mwangi aka Mbembe.
Jubilee Party is working on a decision to identify a candidate to
fight for the slot.

Mountain Journal has established that Esther Kamau, Joshua Githinji and Rosemary Wakuthie have applied for clearance from the party
secretariat.
At Wundanyi/ Mbali ward in Taita Taveta county, Kioni said the party
was in the process of looking for as
