The government has been implicated in the chaos that were experienced in 22 counties, after the police failed to act , when the hooligans invaded businesses.
Kiharu MP Ndindi Nyoro bitterly explained that in the past one month 50 Kenyans have been killed and the blame leveled at the police.
Speaking at Wanjengi coffee factory in his constituency, said the government was neither involved nor abetted the crime.
He regretted that the NIS has a Sh50 billion budget, but failed to gather intelligence information pertaining to the Monday chaos.
“ If they had gathered such information was not used to protect Kenyans nor what happened,” expressed the Kiharu MP.“
He claimed there was a narrative peddled through the state agencies designed to cause conflict among the Kenyans.
.“It is shocking that after the June 25 chaos, a senior government official walked in the streets of Nairobi parading more than 50 IDs alleging they were left behind by the criminals who participated in looting,” said Ndindi
On the police, he expressed bitterly how on the material day, all roads were closed in Nairobi, seeking for information pertaining how the goons were able to reach their target destinations.
“ With a budget of Sh200 billion, the police failed to protect Kenyans and instead exposed them to hooligans who were able to cause chaos in 22 counties,” said Ndindi
In the counties of Kajiado, Murang’a, Kirinyaga, Nakuru among others the leaders have openly stated that the goons behind the chaos, were transported.
