A forum has been initiated to educate and encourage the youth across the counties on the need to explore opportunities in the public and private sectors, instead of indulging in antisocial behaviors.
20 X Entrepreneur and business accelerator in the past one year has conducted forums in more than 14 counties holding sessions with the youth, equipping them with knowledge in foreign languages.
The organisation CEO Eunice Mburu says for the country to thrive there is need for the leadership to focus on encouraging the youth to embrace ignoring opportunities, and openings in their backyard.

Ms Mburu speaking at Murang’a PCEA Hall said there is a need for the young to embrace new opportunities to go to technical colleagues awaiting to get openings.
She also called on the youth to register in large numbers in SHA and avoid listening to criticism, as they stand to benefit when they fall sick.
Technical courses, she said, have a lot of opportunities that are needed by the majority of the employers.
“ Also they are required to learn foreign languages after they are required to add value to the job seekers,” said Ms Mburu.
In the forum John Kimotho, in the workshop said he learned alot on how to market his carpentry products from his workshop.
“ The topic that interested me is the need to learn foreign languages and sales,” said Kimotho, adding that he was also exposed to the need to explore for opportunities on the internet.
James Kamau a mason said the issue of savings among the youth was expounded, with the youth advised to open bank accounts to accelerate the same.

“Majority of the youth it emerged were not interested in saving eying for the future,” said Kamau.
Bonson Mwaniki says since inception of the programme 4,000 youth have benefitted to access the opportunities in entrepreneurship .
In Homa Bay, Mwaniki said, there are tens of youth who have embraced foreign languages, awaiting to benefit in the airlift programmes.
“ All universities and colleges should introduce foreign languages, to emulate the Tom Mboya University, where hundreds of students have been enrolled,” said Mr Mwaniki.
At 20x Entrepreneurs, equip business leaders with tools for success—including financial literacy and sales skills. But this shift raises important questions about whether financial acumen should be left to choice or treated as a fundamental skill.
