Kenya confirms the third Mpox case after 89 samples have been submitted to our laboratories,

In the analysis 79 tested negative for Mpox as the Ministry of Health announced  the third case.

Health Director General Patrick Amoth said the latest patient is a 30-year-old woman from  Nairobi who recently traveled to Uganda.

“ The Ministry was conducting surveillance for suspected cases nationwide to control the spread of the disease,” said Dr Amoth.

 He added that another 11 samples were being analyzed
