Kandara parliamentary race has narrowed to two candidates who have put a spirited effort.
The front runners are Chege Njuguna of UDA and Titus Njau Mbuchu who did intensive campaigns in the six wards.
IEBC coordinator Linnah Kilonzi is expected to announce the results after vote counting.
In the by election to replace Cabinet Secretary Alice Wahome eight candidates had been cleared to run eying the 105,148 registered voters where only a fraction turned up.
