Governor restructures his
government to improve service delivery

Laikipia County Government
administration has been restructured with senior officials who left for green
pasture being replaced.
Governor Ndiritu Muriithi
restructured his administration and replaced Water and Environment Executive
Njenga Kahiro who left for Mali Asili Inc with nominated MCA Peter Matunge
Lemerian from Laikipia North.
Also changed is Dr Joseph
Lenai from Health who swapped with Lucy Maitai in the Public administration
docket.
Wangari Wachira was appointed CEC
Department of agriculture and Livestock taking over from Dr Lucy Murugi who
moved to the Governor’s office as a senior advisor alongside chief officer
Evans Kamau formerly of finance.
The Governor also nominated Alice Kimemia as the
chairperson of the Laikipia Revenue Board to replace Wangari Wachira who
replaced Murugi in the agriculture docket.
