 A national
figure at AIPCA church dies

 A National official at the African Independent
Pentecostal Church of African (AIPCA) Cryus Ruru Mwaura passed on last
night.

Ruru
Mwaura who until his demise the treasurer at the supreme council of the church
has been eulogized as an icon of peace and hope.

He
was also an ally of the AIPCA Archbishop Julius Njoroge and who participated in
the negotiation talks requested by the government to end the leadership wrangles
that had rocked the church.

 Ruru was a long serving civic leader in Muruka,
Kandara and a chairman at the defunct County Council of Maragua, Murang’a
county.

 In December last year, Ruru was among Murang’a
leaders celebrated by Health Cabinet Secretary Mutahi Kagwe the official opening
of Santa More Specialised Surgical Hospital, a private health facility at Kenol
market in Kandara.

 Murang’a Governor Mwangi wa Iria said Ruru
will be remembered for his wisdom and assisted people from his Kandara
backyard.

 Others who eulogized Ruru
are  Kandara Alice Wahome, lawyer Mbiyu Kamau,
Mwalimu Francis Mutemwa among others.
