Murang’a Kuppet Branch Executive
Secretary John Mwangi Mburu clinched to his seat after he polled 1,195 votes
after he defeated his sole opponent Dominic Gitau with 728.
Mburu led the team Kazi Iendelea
while Gitau was in charge of the rival.
Branch Chairman Michael Gachema
reclaimed his position after he floored his opponents Evanson Macharia and
Henry Njuguna with 943 votes.
Macharia and Njuguna polled 393 and
610 votes respectively.

In the treasurer’s slot, Daniel
Mungai the incumbent sailed through with 781, after he defeated Kagwanja Kamama
and Ann Wanjiru with 612 and 553 votes respectively. In the contested slot,
Edwin Kuria a new entrant in the executive garnered 984 votes and defeated
Boniface Maina the former holder of the slot managed 927 votes.
In the slot of Gender Secretary
Eunice Nyambura won after she floored the incumbent Wambui Wanyoike with 1,172
votes against 747.
In the representative of the
tertiary education, Patrick Mitobio made an entry into the branch executive
after he polled 1,072 votes, and floored James Mukuria who had 863 votes.
