Governor Muriithi lands on a prime desk in Raila Odinga Campaign strategy

Laikipia Governor Ndiritu Muriithi has been appointed to head a prime department in the Raila Odinga 2002 campaign board after he linked himself with Azimio la Umoja Initiative.
The governor seeking to head the county for a second term will chair the board of Raila Odinga 2022 campaign, after he was identified the most influential leader in Mt Kenya region.
He has over 29 years experience in leadership and governance working in Kenya, South Africa, Canada and Australia.
The governor is credited to have embarked on a journey to transform the Laikipia county public service board, turning it into a professional body.
“Under his leadership, the governor leadership has enrolled over 1,600 local small and medium enterprises that are undergoing incubation under the Laikipia innovation and enterprise development programme, ” said the ODM Leader in a press release.
Others appointed in the raila campaign secretariat include Elizabeth Meyo as the secretary to the board after she has worked in the International Monetary Fund. She is the immediate former Commissioner of Domestic Taxes Department at Kenya Revenue Authority.
Appointment of Muriithi has left his competitors mouth wide open as they are not aware if he will be in the governorship race or not.
But the Muriithi think tanks say he will be in the Laikipia governorship race ready to face businessmen John Wakaba, Mburu Kamau, Wahome Koinange, Mariam Mwangi, Gitonga Kabugi among others.
