Tuthu Residents appreciate gesture by Kamau after he uplifted the living standard of a humble family

A family in Tuthu village got relief after former Kigumo MP Jamleck Kamau constructed a decent house for a humble family.
The family of Thomas Njuguna was identified by the residents for support after its two daughters who are deaf work in the village as casual workers despite their condition.
Njuguna thanked Kamau for the support accorded to his family saying it has been a long way but God sent a good Samaritan to construct a decent house for them.

“It is a pleasure to my family as Kamau was touched and also brought in enough beddings to keep us warm,” said Njuguna.
The family was also exposed to cold during the night as it lacked proper beddings.
Ms Doris Wanjiru Machau, of Mataha village, a relative of Njuguna said the gesture expressed by Kamau is a blessing.

The family was living in a pathetic situation but from today the condition has changed owing to the humanitarian touch made by Kamau,” said Wanjiru.
Ms Wanjiku asked Murang’a residents that Kamau who has expressed interest to vie for Governorship that he is worth owing to his kind heart. In the dilapidated house Njuguna was living with his two grandchildren
“This time round is ripe for Kamau as he was in the election contest in 2017 but failed to garner enough votes,” said Wanjiru.

Mzee Gitere Gichuhi said it was a relief to the humble family as it has struggled for years living in a mudwalled house, with holes all over.

“ The presence of Mheshimiwa Kamau in Tuthu is proof that he cares for the people despite their background,” said Gitere.
He added that Kamau has constructed other houses in different parts of Murang’a when approached by the community leaders.
