The Ministry of Education has directed the school heads to ensure the learners are registered in the Social Health Insurance Fund as dependents of their parents.
The schools have been directed to ensure the learners are registered in the SHIF programme before schools open for the third term.
Education PS Belio Kipsang in a circular dated August 16, directs all school-going children are therefore required to register as dependents of their parents before school opening dates for 3rd term 2024.
