A professional from
Kigumo has build a decent toilet for the police.

Muturi Karanja has
constructed a modern toilet at Kigumo Police Station, as his contribution to
supporting the welfare of the police officers.

 Muturi the Personal
Assistant to Murang’a Governor Mwangi wa Iria handed over the project, three days
after Deputy Inspector General of Police Edward Mbugua visited Kigumo Police
station.

In his visit to the
stalled project on police residence, the DIG appealed to locals to support the
completion of the police quarters.

“As a leader from Kigumo
I have want to be counted among those who stand with the police, as they are brothers
and sisters as they are dedicated to serve residents in Kigumo,”
said Muturi.

 Mbugua gave
Sh200,000 to facilitate the completion of the houses and promised to conduct
another inspection before they are occupied.

“The block is done by
Kenya Prisons Service will be ready in two months,” said Mbugua.

 The housing
project stalled two years ago due to financial remittance related issues.
