Before he attempted  the parliamentary position, Macharia chaired the Embakasi East NG CDF  committee.

Wambui is a spouse to the former Maragua MP Peter Kamande and a career teacher.

Kangari MCA Moses Mirara said the board is supposed to be furnishing the assembly with quarterly reports as the procedure demands.

“ The assembly need to know what the board is doing  from time to time,” said Mirara.

Mugumo ini MCA Alex Wanyoike said in any organisation there is need for sober leadership  to guide the workforce, as he hailed  the appointment of the two.

“ Macharia has served as the chairman of Embakasi East NG CDF while Wambui has been a teacher since 1992 and presently a headteacher at Maji Kiboko primary school,” said Wanyoike.

Murarandia MCA Njuguna Munga said the board  should  consider looking at the plight of nursery  schools that are understaffed despite the  challenges of congestion of learners.

“ There was a report on the state of ECDE centres in Wangu ward, that the issue of shortage of teachers emerged, thus the appointment of the two the issues should be handled,” said Munga.
